hunting trips. We've harnessed these almost magical properties for you by selecting the highest quality Hoodia available.
There are dozens of Hoodia plants, but only one with the power to boost energy and suppress appetite. Hoodia Gordonii was discovered by South
Africa's “San” Bushmen growing in the Kalahari desert. For more than 100,000 years, the San have used the plant as a source of energy and to reduce
hunger. By chewing the meat of this spiny succulent plant, the San could go for days during their hunting trips without eating and still be strong and energetic. The appetite suppressing quality of the plant was so strong they just did not feel hungry.
The main body of research on P57 was from the 2001 study at Phytopharm. Subjects in the study were divided into two groups, and told to continue their normal diet and exercise program. One group received P57 supplements while the second group received a placebo. The results were astonishing.
equally unsuccessful: plants cultivated commercially, outside of the Kalahari desert lack the potency and efficacy of the Hoodia Gordonii grown in the wild
in the Kalahari desert.
In a rare court decision, a South African lawyer representing the remaining members of the San Bushmen was awarded royalties on every Hoodia plant
harvested from the desert. Hoodia is now a protected plant, monitored by CITES (the Convention on the International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild
Fauna and Flora).
Because of the scarcity of the supply, many companies use Hoodia Gordonii grown in Mexico, China or the US. While it costs less than South African
Hoodia, foreign-grown Hoodia has less appetite suppressing qualities. Only CITES-certified Hoodia has the same benefits discovered by the San Bushmen.
We use only CITES-certified Hoodia Gordonii in Petite-Appetite. The active ingredients are extracted without heat and chemicals with an extraction ratio
of 300:1 This method of extraction results in a highly stabilized yield of pure extract that is 99.99% bio-available. It is the purest and most potent extract currently found in the Industry.
