Thank you for enquiring about the P Shot® and its treatment in Peyronies Disease.
Peyronies is an often-distressing condition that affects one in eleven men. Currently there are limited treatment options and at times significant adverse effects from what is available.
In this innovative treatment, that has been developed and refined by Dr Charles Runels an American Physician, we start with blood being drawn like any other blood test.
This is then centrifuged down yielding the straw-colored platelet rich plasma or as it is commonly known PRP, with prepackaged growth factors, waiting to be released.
Following the application of a topical aesthetic to the penis the PRP is then injected into the Corpus Cavernosum or the tube-like cylinders of the penile shaft and into the Peyronies plaque like fibrotic tissue, just beneath the skin.
The aim is to produce new tissue and vascular growth in the penis, whilst reducing the scarring and contracture effects of the Peyronies, which in itself is scar tissue.
The treatment outcome may take up to 6 weeks to be seen, with results varying between individual patients. It is not unusual for several treatments to be required before achieving your best result.
Everyman’s best result may differ.
On occasion despite our best efforts, Peyronies may also demonstrate very little in improvement and as such no guarantees can be given.

For best results it is also advisable to use a Penis Pump at 5-10 mmhg for 5mins twice daily for the duration of the treatment and in between treatments.
With respect to the cost for P Shot treatments, usually a single P Shot treatment costs $1950.
However, given that Peyronies invariably requires more P Shots to improve the penile angulation, we have adjusted the pricing to make treatments more affordable.
Below is a schedule of costs.
$1500 for the first P Shot
$1500 for the second P Shot
$1200 for each P Shot thereafter
From experience it takes about 3-4 P Shots for the best results. But this does vary for each patient.
